On February 10, 2020, Sultan of Brunei Darussalam Hassanal Bolkiah, received Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Sirojiddin Muhriddin. A wide range of issues related to bilateral cooperation in various fields was discussed at the meeting.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan conveyed the invitation of the Founder of Peace and National Unity – Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon addressed to Sultan of Brunei Darussalam, Hassanal Bolkiah to participate in the High-Level International Conference “Water for Sustainable Development” in Dushanbe.

The Sultan of Brunei conveyed his greetings and sincere wishes to the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, and referring to the state visit of the President of Tajikistan to Brunei in 2010, noted that the reciprocal visit will be followed.

The meeting was held in an atmosphere of mutual understanding and sincerity.
