On May 5, 2021, the Founder of Peace and National Unity, Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon has sent a message of congratulations to the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr.

The message reads, in particular:

“Your Majesty, Dear Brother,
It is a great honour to sincerely congratulate His Majesty and all the friendly people of Brunei Darussalam on the occasion of Eid-al-Fitr.

On these blessed days for all Muslims around the world, I ask Allah S.W.T. to grant His Majesty good health, happiness and new achievements and to the friendly people of Brunei Darussalam well-being, peace stability, progress and prosperity.

I express confidence that the friendly relations and cooperation between our countries will continue to develop for the benefit of our peoples on the basis of joint efforts of the parties and the supreme values of the holy religion of Islam, including mutual understanding and solidarity, tolerance, kindness and mutual support.”
