On August 28, 2021, the Founder of Peace and National Unity, Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon has sent a message of congratulations to the King of Malaysia, the Yang Di-Pertuan Agong XVI, Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah Ibni Almarhum Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah Al-Musta’in Billah on the occasion of National Day of Malaysia.

The message reads, in particular:
“Your Majesty,

I am pleased to sincerely congratulate You and all the friendly people of Malaysia on the occasion of the anniversary of the National Day of Malaysia.

Tajikistan is interested in further strengthening bilateral and multilateral relations with Malaysia.

To our delight, throughout the years of Tajikistan’s state independence, as a result of efforts from both sides, and in the spirit of friendly relations and mutually beneficial cooperation, we have achieved a qualitatively new level.

We wish for a significantly more noteworthy and better development of this cooperation and the launch of new pages in the extension of broad relations between Tajikistan and Malaysia.

With renewed congratulations, I wish His Majesty good health and new achievements, as well as lasting peace and prosperity to the friendly people of Malaysia.”
